It's always great to discover a new leather and to introduce it to our collection. Suede and Nubuck are both perennials here at Elliot Rhodes but our discovery of this new mottled leather with its sanded nubuck finish has really gotten us excited! The soft touch nature of this leather makes it wonderfully supple and tactile, ensuring that this is a belt that moulds easily to the waist. Of course on this occasion the belt is not just about the leather but also about the buckle! Our brand new Megalodon buckle has been moulded from an original Megalodon tooth (circa 10 million years old) but given a sleek finish that moves it into more contemporary territory. The crisp silver finish is perfectly framed by the dark blue of the leather below making for a belt that is slick and a little bit edgy too, certainly different and one that will always be a talking point whenever you wear it. I would use this belt for any manner of occasions - not formal, but pretty much any smart casual or casual occasion will be fine.
